About Us

Started in 1938, NHL originally sold recycled lumber and building materials from demolition.  From Catskill bungalows to farm outbuildings, our Hudson Valley customers got good value and solid lumber to construct buildings, many of which still stand today.

We stock numerous patterns and sizes of softwood siding and flooring not found in conventional lumberyards or big box home centers.  We also maintain products for agricultural and industrial use not found at the regular building material supplier.

Our Mission

Our mission today is to still provide exceptional value in lumber and building products, especially Eastern Pine, Southern Yellow Pine, and Cedar boards. 

Our Location

We are conveniently located near I-84, not far from the NYS Thruway and NY Route 17.  We deliver throughout the Hudson Valley and to nearby areas of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
